Manifesto

The Art of Structuring Excellence

The Origin: A Bridge Between Two Lands

Mabele Ya Bozui is not just a network. It is a self-sustaining ecosystem, rooted between Brussels and Africa, born of a deep conviction: the economic leadership of women in the diaspora is the driving force behind the new green transition.

We are the answer to the challenges faced by a generation of female entrepreneurs who no longer just want to “give it a try,” but to build sustainable empires. Where others see barriers, we build bridges to international markets.

Our philosophy: from craftsmanship to industry

We’re not talking about aid; we’re talking about building structures. Too much expertise goes unnoticed simply because there’s no framework in place. Mabele Ya Bozui transforms artisanal initiatives into rigorous, innovative, and responsible economic activities. Our approach is uncompromising:

  • Technical Requirements: Ensure that each product complies with European safety standards (CE, cosmetovigilance).

  • Co-creation: Fostering the exchange of expertise where on-the-ground experience meets entrepreneurial engineering.

  • Empowerment: Equipping women with the tools to take their place in decision-making roles and influence global value chains.

Materials: The Heart of Our Industries

Building a sustainable economic bridge between Belgium and Africa, led by responsible, innovative women entrepreneurs committed to environmentally friendly industries.

We believe in a circular economy, conscious beauty, responsible agriculture, and balanced cooperation.

Our manifesto is written with the earth (Mabele). We believe in responsible innovation that honors African and global biodiversity.

We are restoring the prestige of nature’s most powerful ingredients to deliver high-quality, certified beauty:

  • Precious & Regenerating Oils: SacredArgan, Prickly Pear (a true natural elixir of youth), Shea, and Baobab.

  • Moisturizing & Protective Ingredients: The softness of coconut, the soothing properties ofaloe vera, and innovative uses of sugarcane and cassava for unique textures.

  • Fine Fragrances & Essential Oils: The elegance of orange blossom, the floral exoticism ofylang-ylang, and the purity of rare African essences come together to create fragrances with a distinct identity.

We transform crops into exceptional finished products, ensuring optimal preservation and global recognition:

  • Fruit and Plant Processing: Mango (dried or pureed), Lemongrass(infusions and extracts), andHibiscus (Bissap).

  • Innovative Starchy Crops & Root Vegetables: Restructuring the cassava (flour, byproducts) and plantain sectors, pillars of food security and premium exports.

  • Superfoods: Such as moringa and baobab powders for healthy and sustainable nutrition.

 1. Cassava: Energy from the Roots

Cassava is the third-largest source of carbohydrates in tropical regions. It is a “safety net” crop because it survives where others fail.

  • Culinary versatility: Both the root (foufou, boiled cassava, attiéké, tapioca) and the leaves (which are very rich in protein and vitamins) are eaten.

  • Preparation: Because it naturally contains cyanogenic compounds, it must be properly prepared (soaked, fermented, or cooked) to be safe to eat.

  • Industry: Its starch is used in everything from textiles to the production of bioplastics.

  • Cosmetics: For making face masks

2. The Prickly Pear: The Treasure of the Desert

This fruit from the Opuntia ficus-indica cactus is a true “superfood” that requires very little water.

  • The Fruit: Sweet and refreshing, it is rich in vitamin C and magnesium. Watch out for the tiny, invisible spines (glochids) on the skin!

  • “Raquettes” (Nopals):The young stems are eaten as a green vegetable. They are excellent for regulating blood sugar levels.

  • Pumpkin Seed Oil: It is one of the most expensive and effective cosmetic oils in the world due to its anti-aging properties, as it is extremely rich in vitamin E.
